This is a small game made for Godot Wild Jam #28 on the theme "Egg".

I unfortunately didn't have an artist with me so I was stuck with my incapacity to create something that I like to look at! :)

This is also my first 3D game which was possible because GWJ lasts for a week so I had time to learn a bit. Lots of fun and Godot is definitely a pleasure to work with!

This game is heavily inspired by Overcooked

WARNING: the web export doesn't seem to work (I suppose I messed up the upload format) but the windows version works fine! (I couldn't test mac & linux exports, sorry)

Oh NO! The WASM!

Playing the windows ver rn

Sorry about the web version, I have to try and fix that. Thanks for trying the windows export, though! ope you liked it!

Concerning the web export, I remember having the same issues trying to submit to my first game jam :)

Here's a youtube video by Gonkee that does a pretty good job of explaining how to properly export for web (for your reference for future jams)

Good luck with the jam!

Thank you! I'll see if I can upload a new web version

hm, I tried reexporting the game but the procedure in the video doesn't differ from what I did. So unfortunately, it still did not work... I'm still on Godot 3.1.2 though, maybe I should try a newer version...

Hmmm, well there are a few key things that can mess up the export for itch.

First, make sure you're hitting the "Export Project" button below and NOT the "Export PCK/Zip" button

Then you can save the files wherever you want, but you HAVE to save it as "index.html" (see below)

That should leave you with a list of files like you see below (everything in the red box)

You can cut/paste all those files into a Zipped folder (The name of the zipped folder doesn't matter)  and THAT folder is what you upload to itch.

I apologize if you already knew some/all of the above, I don't mean to insult your intelligence :)

Just trying to track down what's messing up the export.

As a side note, I don't believe, in this jam, we can upload any new files during the voting period.

"I apologize if you already knew some/all of the above, I don't mean to insult your intelligence :)"

Hahaha, no worries, I totally agree : it's best to check all the obvious before the rest.

And you're right, they specified that we cannot upload a new version during the voting period except for broken build. I have to ask the admins first anyway.

Thanks a lot for your help!
